My name is Medianeira, I am the mother of a former pastor who was saved on January 27, in Santa Maria from the tragedy that occurred at the KISS nightclub. Like every mother, I cried, but I did not give up on my son.
When my son was 14 going on 15, he talked about being an assistant, he was very affectionate and a very good company. When he turned 16, he turned away from God's presence and began to walk with bad company, he became aggressive, especially with his siblings. I no longer knew my son. He began to miss school, came home in the middle of the night. One night, my son entered my room, walked over to my bed and gave me a goodnight kiss, that’s when I smelled drugs on him.
When he left the room, I kneeled down and cried before God, asking for help! At that moment, began a great battle for the soul of my son. After a while, the more vows I did in church for him, the more evil arose against my faith. One day, we were having lunch and I was talking to him about Jesus ... he had a horrible reaction! He threw his plate across the room and said there is no sense on fighting, because even dead I won’t go to church. At that moment, I looked into his eyes and said: If what is inside of you is stronger than what is inside me, I will serve it! But you can be sure that you will go back to God's presence alive!
After that, I walked into the church and I poured my heart on the altar of God, that week he went out with friends to use drugs. I went to my room and started talking to God, it didn’t take long, a matter of an hour, he returned home. I noticed that he was scared, and something was different.
That day he was going to use crack and at the moment he was going to use, he thought of me, on my knees praying, then he got scared and left the apartment quickly. His friends called after him, and he said I have to go! From that moment he began to turn to God, and began to seek, he became an assistant, because he wanted to help other people. Then became a pastor for two years, but turned away from God's presence.
It was a moment of great pain, I saw him crying, but I had to keep firm, I knew I was going to face a great desert. He started going out at night, until the 26th of January, my son said he was going out, before going to work I told him: TAKE CARE OF YOUR SALVATION!
I went to work, I'm a Nursing Technician, and as I always do, I prepared my patients, I left everything ready, when at around 3:00 am on Jan. 27, the Hospital was in alert. The nightclub Kiss had caught fire! There were many victims, many were called from the ICU to help in the emergency room of the hospital, and in that moment of pain I could imagine what had happened, until then, we had no idea of how big the tragedy was. I went down the stairs, already heard cries for help, rescue sirens, and I said to God: Father, I do not accept losing my son’s soul!
When I arrived at the emergency room, it was like scenes from a horror movie, while I was helping, I looked back at those young people who filled the aisles and searched for my son, meanwhile I spoke with God: Father, NOT his soul! The pain was tremendous! It seemed that I wouldn’t be able to handle it, but I had to help each one as if it were my son. When I called him, it went into his voicemail ... each rescue unit that came said, that there were many bodies inside the club!
At that moment I said to God: I DO NOT HAVE A WAY TO FIND HIM, BUT SEND YOUR ANGELS WHERE EVER HE IS BECAUSE, I CANNOT TAKE THE PAIN!
Many desperate mothers came to find their children, and I could not look for mine, because they were many people that needed me at that moment. At 5am my phone rang, when I answered I heard his voice. It was as if I had heard him cry again when he was born ... I said to him: MY SON WHERE WOULD YOUR SOUL BE NOW?
That night, he was at that club, but because some of his friends called him to another party he left the club. With all of these events in my son's life, I saw my VOWS with GOD fulfilled in my life, because GOD delivered him.
I ASK EVERY MOTHER, NOT TO GIVE UP ON YOUR CHILD! FIGHT! THE BOND THAT UNITES A MOTHER TO HER CHILD IS VERY STRONG! PUT ALL YOUR STRENGTH AND PERSERVERE BECAUSE GOD IS FAITHFUL! THE SECRET IS IN YOUR VOWS WITH GOD AND PERSERVERANCE!
