A DEVASTATED MOTHER

A devastated mother came to me to ask why God permitted so many disasters in her life and the life of her children. She also wanted to understand why God was so harsh in permitting all the disasters in the world, especially with children and in schools.

Without hesitating I told her that for many years people have shut God out. They have implored God to leave their schools, government and just their everyday lives.

She asked me what do you mean?

It all started when prayer and reading the Bible were banned in schools. We stopped teaching children to ask God for protection and stopped teaching them His Word that teaches us not to steal, not to kill, but to love thy neighbor. They have taken away any our right and authority as a parent to disciple our children. When the Bible clearly teaches us that we must disciple our children and teach them right from wrong. But many times people choose to listen to others instead of the word of God. Without noticing they end up despising God.

God being polite like He is, just steps asides.

It’s sad to see how people quickly blame God when a disaster happens. Then they remember and call on Him only when they are strike by pain. Then she said but it is so sad to see so many innocent people dying horrific deaths.

God too knows what it is like to loose a loved one, for He saw His only Son die a horrific death right before His eyes! But if we continue to exclude Him in our lives He has no other choice then to let us be. The Bible teaches us in Galatians 6:7-8

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

God gives us free will. We choose if we want God to be our Sovereign Lord and rule over our lives or not! It is our choice to let Him take total control of our lives or not.

Mothers, make your choice today!
